Are NANO HAIR EXTENSIONS Good For The Hair? Find Out In This Video!

Nano hair extensions are a great alternative to keratin hair extensions if your client is looking for an individual method that they can re-use, but is still super discreet.

I don’t have many clients that wear nanos, but I really enjoy it when I do get the chance to install them. I feel like nano hair extensions are incredibly popular in the UK, but is definitely a method I don’t see a lot of people doing or requesting in the USA. It’s also worth noting that there’s not many brands that actually carry nano hair extensions in the USA either.

Despite that I am still more than willing to install nano extensions, I actually used to do a lot of these years ago when I first ever started doing hair extensions. I started hair extensions about 10 years ago and anything with a bead that was an individual was extremely popular at the time.

Nano hair extensions use a small nano bead to attach the hair extension to the natural hair. This is a heat free application. I want to use small nano beads that are silicone lined, I like beads that have that silicone element when working with nano because I find the silicone acts as a cushion between the natural hair and the extension. The silicone also helps with slipping, I find that by using silicone line beads i’m less likely to have any problems with the extension sliding out from the natural hair.

We did a reinstall today, so the client actually had this hair installed when she was in the UK and she came to me now that she’s living in the US to have them reinstalled.

The install took me a total of about 1.5 hours to install 100 g of nano hair extensions and style.

The beads that I used are the silicone lined nano beads from Philocaly hair. I also love the hair made easi ones because they come pre-threaded.
